We were contacted by Hussle, previously known as PayAsYouGym.com, which is an online platform providing the UK’s most flexible way to get fit. The company wanted to raise the profile of the exercise classes that were on offer through the venues that used their online platform. We believed that hosting an event would be the best way to bring the platform to life.
We were asked to organise and run a mash-up 70-minute exercise class showcasing different classes that Hussle offered. The fitness event, known as Urban Movement, comprised six knowledgeable personal trainers, including Bradley Simmonds, providing 10 minutes of their fitness class – yoga, pilates, boxing, capoeira, twerking, and HIIT.
The tickets to the Urban Movement fitness event sold out two weeks prior to the event and ticket sales raised £1,000 for Sport Relief. We also arranged for five companies to pay for pop-up stalls at the event and over 10 companies contributed free products to the participant’s goody bags.
We increased Hussle’s Instagram followers by 65%, with 129 posts on social media during the event and 107 post event. All attendees carried out a post-event survey and we achieved a 94% satisfaction rate.
Our online coverage of the fitness event had 100,000 views and we achieved over 300,000 print coverage views.
Over 100 people attended the Urban Movement fitness event and burnt over 30,000 calories during the class.
